Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, Mer was raised to love dramatic storytelling, getting lost in a good book, and singing in the car. Though shy and introverted by nature, she found her love for acting when performing with her twin sister and younger brother in school plays.

When not acting, Mer loves hiking, crocheting, and watching her pet snail Sidewalk eat carrots.
